Over the river and through the woods to grandmothers we go. Well not really but we did stick our nose into the waterfall!
Milford Sound Lodge/Holiday Park is great. Excellent kitchen and dining area with the best bathroom shower arrangements I have seen anywhere in the world. There are of course private toilets, but they have raised the bar with private toilets and showers. You have an entire bathroom to yourself, lavatory, toilet, and shower in one room you can lock and take care of business! You can cook your favorite meals, use refrigeration to store or provide treats for someone else, and clean up afterward. Of course, it is an honor system that some assholes abuse.
