Some time ago, in the last century, we meet at a trade show in Las Vegas. Lucia from the east (Taiwan), Mark from the west (California). Lucia had immigrated to Canada, working for a tool manufacturer, Mark working for a suspension manufacturer. We spent a week working our booths at the SEMA show across the aisle from each other. Friday the show closed, we exchanged phone numbers, promising to keep in touch.

We both traveled to see each other frequently, 9/11 happened, and against the advice of several friends, Lucia obtained a fiancé visa, moved to California, we were married.

When we met Mark was living on a sailboat and had a 19’ travel trailer enjoying a mobile lifestyle. Mark sold the boat bought a house, Lucia moved to California and we began traveling almost right away. This is where the Marco Polo concept (east meets west) started, our first big adventure together was to Taiwan, west travels to east. Now we have sold our house, live in our motorhome full time.

We travel in our RV named Marco Polo, travel internationally staying in airBnB’s or renting RV’s. So welcome, hope you enjoy and maybe find inspiration from our story and adventures.

Update: After wandering around for a few years we have settled into a new property in East Tennessee. Near the Smokey Mountains, it's beautiful and we love it. Thinking it's time to downsize our rig, we are planning a major trip to Alaska including the Dalton highway, Arctic Circle, etc. This means we need to downsize and toughen up our equipment. Will keep you posted on that!
